Four precautions for painting the surface of the transmission chain

Transmission chains are more suitable for use on automatic equipment, such as production lines, they are also used in a wide range of applications, but have you learned about the four precautions for painting the surface of transmission chains? How to pay attention to the specific four points need to be understood! So share it with everyone!

Transmission chain manufacturers

1. The surface of the transmission chain that has been sprayed and derusted should be immediately primed. The painting should be carried out in a clean place. The ambient temperature should be above 5℃, the humidity should be below 85%, and the surface temperature of the workpiece should not exceed 60. ℃;

2. After installation and commissioning, the topcoat should be applied again, and the damaged parts during transportation and installation should be repaired before painting;

3. The coating of transmission chain primer and middle layer paint is not allowed to have defects such as pinholes, bubbles, cracks, shedding, sagging, and missing coating; the top paint must be uniform, bright and complete;

4. When there are no special requirements for each component, one primer (excluding maintenance primer) and two topcoats should be applied. Paint leakage is not allowed. The color of each layer of paint should be different, and the dry film thickness of each layer of paint should be 25~ 35 um, the total thickness of the paint dry film is not less than 75um;

The working surface of the smooth roller and roller of the transmission chain can be coated with only one layer of anti-rust paint or top paint, and the inner wall of the roller can be coated with rust paint;

The exposed processing mating surface should be coated with protective grease, and the exposed processing non-matching surface (excluding the frame) should be coated with topcoat or primer, and the dry film thickness should be at least 35 feet.
