Application characteristics Compared with other transmissions, gear transmission has the following characteristics:
1 The instantaneous transmission ratio is constant, the stationarity is high, and the transmission motion is accurate and reliable;
2 Wide application range; can realize transmission between parallel axis, intersecting axis and staggered axis; the range of power and speed transmitted is large;
3 compact structure, reliable operation, can achieve a larger transmission ratio;
4 high transmission efficiency and long service life;
5 gears have higher requirements for manufacturing and installation;
6 is not suitable for transmission between two axes at a distance.
Chain drive features:
1. The chain drive works by meshing to obtain an accurate average gear ratio.
2. Compared with the belt drive, the chain drive has a small tension, a small force on the shaft, a large transmission power, and high efficiency. When necessary, the chain drive can work under low speed and high temperature and oil pollution.
3. Compared with the gear transmission, it can work under the condition that the center distance between the two shafts is large.
4. Since the instantaneous chain speed is variable, the instantaneous transmission ratio is not constant, the transmission is poor, the noise is low, and the chain speed is not too high.
