Are standard spur gears and spur gears the same kind?
The shape is different for the following reasons:
The modulus, number of teeth, and pressure angle of the displacement gear are the same as those of the standard gear, and the index circle is also the same as the standard gear. The tooth tip height of the positively modified gear increases, the tooth root height decreases, the indexing circle tooth thickness and the tooth root tooth thickness increase, and the tooth tip tends to become sharp; the negative shift gear is the opposite.
